Contemporary Museum
Tunisia’s landmark project, the City of Culture, opened earlier this year in the capital city, Tunis. The museum of contemporary art holds a 1800-seat opera house, two theatres, a cinema, a book centre, numerous studios and offices for the festivals that are expected to be hosted at this auspicious venue.
The museum will provide a much-welcomed cash injection into the city. The Ministry of Culture in Tunisia added that it is a proud and historic moment for Tunisia as this is the largest cultural project throughout the Arab, Maghreb and North African regions.
