Housing update
Authorities of the Tunisian government have passed legislation that allows Libyan and Algerian nationals to obtain full ownership rights when purchasing properties in Tunisia on condition that the property’s selling price is not less than 300 000 Dinars and that the funds are paid in foreign currency.
With the decrease in value of the Tunisian Dinar, the intent is for the Tunisian real estate market to curb the ongoing crisis and bring foreign currency into the Tunisian treasury.
